Military Police arrest suspects of trafficking and apprehend weapons and drugs in the Amazon

The Amazonas Military Police (PMAM), through the 1st Independent Company of Military Police (1st CIPM) and the 8th PM Group (GPM), carried out on Saturday morning (04) an operation that resulted in the arrest of three adults and the seizure of a teenager for involvement with drug trafficking crimes, association for trafficking, corruption of minors and illegal possession of weapons.

The action took place around 6:10 am in the Porto Alegre community, after an anonymous report that reported on the marketing of narcotics and the presence of weapons in a residence.

According to police, when he arrived at the scene, the garrison found a under 17, who confessed to acting as a “scout”, receiving money to warn about the approach of vehicles. The teenager also pointed out that the owner of the residence kept drugs and weapons in the property.

During the attempt to approach, a man tried to escape, but was captured. With him and inside the house, narcotics, weapons and various illicit materials were located. In all, they were seized:

• 150 22 -caliber ammunition intact;

• 25 intact 380 caliber ammunition;

• 91 grams of oxy -like substance;

• 125 grams of supposed marijuana;

• 58 grams of cocaine base paste;

• 3 precision scales;

• 1 380 caliber pistol with charger;

•1 rifle calibre 22;

• 1 simulacrum of firearm;

• 2 cell phones;

• R $ 601.00 in kind;

• Drug preparation and packing materials.

Those involved were identified as a 19 -year -old man, a 23 -year -old, a 45 -year -old woman and the under 17.

The case was registered in the 67th Integrated Police District (DIP), under the responsibility of the clerk Julius. The operation was attended by the service and reinforcement team, under the command of 1st Lieutenant QOPM Nicácio.
