Duda Lima is not investigated by the PF in the case.

The PF report shows that on July 13 Malafaia told Bolsonaro in a message that he had told Duda Lima “inventing a sentence that puts more or less around it: Amnesty and the taxation falls.”

For investigators, the messages show that the true intention of acts performed by Malafaia and Jair Bolsonaro was to “coerce Brazilian authorities (STF ministers and parliamentarians) to obtain amnesty and impunity in ongoing criminal actions, and such measures are the only way to reverse the sanctions imposed by the United States.”
A week after the exchange of messages with Bolsonaro, Malafaia published the video produced by Duda on X (former Twitter).
The material contains several elements cited by the pastor, such as Trump’s letter and the staff “Brazil of Justice and Freedom will not be taxed”.
The video states that Trump is saying what many in Brazil are afraid to express: “Arriving patriots is unfair, shut up is censorship and pursuing Bolsonaro is an international shame.” He also argues that the US President wants to be a partner of a Brazil with “true democracy” and that he will only tax the country if there is an insistence on “relative democracy”.
“To solve the problem is easier than it seems: Amnesty for the innocent,” says the video.
In a statement, Duda Lima states that he has a position contrary to Lula “when he says that ‘democracy is relative'” and also in the face of the “provocative criticism given by the petista” against Trump.
He also says he has “strong opinion against Lula” when he has “irresponsible attitude with the Brazilian nation, provoking the president of the most powerful nation in the world.”
In addition to promoting campaigns of PL and Allied candidates, Lima is also responsible for the party’s communication. He is close to, president of the subtitle.
