After the, Ramon Menezes is no longer the under-20 coach. The dismissal was announced this Sunday (5/10), by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), in a note published on Instagram.
“The Brazilian Football Confederation announces that Ramon Menezes is no longer the coach of the Brazilian Men’s U-20 National Team. The decision was made after assessment of the work cycle developed so far,” says the statement.

Following, the Confederation commented on Ramon’s work. “The CBF thanks the dedication and professionalism demonstrated by Ramon throughout his trajectory ahead of this and other teams he commanded in the period in the entity, including the main men’s team,” he says.
Finally, CBF wished Ramon success in the next professional challenges of the coach. “We reinforced the recognition for the commitment and delivery demonstrated in all competitions disputed,” he added.
Last Saturday (4/10), the Brazilian team lost to Spain and was eliminated from the U-20 World Cup in the group stage. It was the first time that Brazil in the initial phase of the competition.
