The leader of the winning YES movement Andrej Babiš on Sunday morning came to Prague Castle for negotiations with President Peter Paul. The main theme is the formation of the future government after the elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic, informs TASR.
Babiš did not answer the questions of journalists on arrival. However, negotiations will not only apply to the formation of a new government, but also the way the YES boss will resolve his conflict of interest as the owner of Agrofert and at the same time almost certain prime minister, wrote the Seznam portal.
After Saturday’s vote, President Petr Pavel announced that from Sunday negotiations on the formation of the government with parties that exceeded the five percent threshold needed to join the Chamber of Deputies in the elections. On Sunday, he also plans to accept the chairmen of the coalition together-Petr Fiala (ODS), Marek Excellent (KDU-ČSL) and Markéta Pekarová Adamová (Top 09). He also wants to discuss with the chairman of the Mayors and Independent (tent) movement. Meetings with the leaders of other parties are planned for Monday.
The President stressed that he wishes a stable government to address the key issues of the country and guarantee citizens of prosperity and security. Babiš discussed on Saturday night on possible cooperation with the Motorist – Filip Turk and Peter Macink – and subsequently with the SPD leader Tomiohohohoho.
YES won the election with 34.51 percent of the vote. The second was the coalition together with 23.36 percent and the third tent with 11.23 percent. The fourth ended the pirates (8.97 percent), the fifth was the SPD (7.78 percent) and motorists with 6.77 percent of the votes were still in the house.
