Algarve Tourism is once again present at Better Living in Portugal Exhibition (Blip Expo 2025), the largest national event dedicated to the resident foreign community and owner of real estate in Portugal. The 25th edition is held on October 11 and 12, at Portimão Arena, bringing together dozens of exhibitors and visitors interested in discovering solutions and services that contribute to a better quality of life in the country.
Organized by AFPOP – Association of Foreign Owners in Portugal, Blip Expo is a reference initiative that, “a quarter of a century, promotes the meeting between residents, companies and institutions, in an informal but professional environment,” says Tourism of Algarve. The entity stresses that the event, which again has its support, “reinforces the commitment to residential tourism and the diversification of the regional offer.”

During the two days of the fair, the Algarve Tourism Stand, shared with the Algarve Wine Commission (CVA), will make available tourist information and publications dedicated to the territory, as well as promotional gifts directed to visitors – mostly foreigners resident in Portugal.
Similar to previous editions, the presence of the CVA will include a regional flavors show, with tasting sessions of tasting vines dynamized by three local producers: Quinta do Canhoto, Sampaio Schleiss Adega and Quinta dos Capinhas. These evidence constitute “an opportunity to make known the quality and authenticity of the wines produced in the region, valuing their winemaker and the connection to the land and the Mediterranean climate”.
The 2025 edition will bring together a wide range of exhibitors, from service, health, insurance and real estate companies, to public entities and investment and integration support bodies. This year, the event will also be attended by a PSP stand of Faro Airport, which will provide information about the new entry and exit system (EES), in force at the European borders from October 12.
With free admission and free parking, the fair will be open to the public on Saturday, from 10:00 to 18:00, and on Sunday, from 10:00 to 16:00. The entire exhibition takes place in interior space, ensuring the comfort of visitors regardless of the weather conditions.
For the, “this participation reinforces the commitment to promote the region as a destination of excellence to live and invest, aligned with the strategy of valuing residential tourism provided for in the Algarve 2028 Strategic Marketing Marketing Plan”.
