Coveted, former player Denílson is close to defining his future as a presenter/commentator. After receiving a proposal from Cazétv, the professional has sent a renewal with the Globo Group.
According to information from journalist Flavio Ricco, Denílson will renew with Globo for another three years, remaining in the station, at least, until 2028, with promise to gain more space in the company.

Proposal from Cazé TV to Denílson
About a month ago, Cazétv would have made a proposal considered “aggressive” to have Denilson as a new commentator. The information and developments were released firsthand by the Leo Dias portal.
Also according to the vehicle, the onslaught did not materialize due to the good relationship that Denilson maintains with Grupo Globo, as well as the success of his projects at the station.
Since 2024, when Denilson was still working at Band, the Cazétv team has tried to attract him in at least two occasions. Now, at Globo, the former player would have refused the invitation once again.
Denilson’s loyalty to Globo has been an important factor for permanence, but behind the scenes indicate that the contractual bond with the broadcaster ends in December 2025. With this, the expectation behind the scenes is that Cazétv again tries to convince him to be part of the team.
Denilson’s performance as a commentator
Globo announced the signing of Denilson as a commentator in January 2025. In addition to his role, he also joined the new Sunday program of SporTV and participating in the Paulista edition of Globo Esporte and pre-game broadcasts involving the Brazilian team.
Currently 48 years old, Denílson hung his boots in 2010 and, in the same year, began his career on television by Band, where he remained until 2024.
