Leconnu was 27 days in office
French Prime Minister Sébastien Leconnu presented his resignation to Emmanuel Macron, who accepted her, who quotes an Elisha statement.
“Sebastien Leconnu presented the resignation of his government to the President of the Republic, who accepted it,” said the Elisha press office.
Leconnu, the fifth prime minister of Macron in two years, had been appointed on 9 September and was widely criticized after presenting part of the government on Sunday night.
Just 27 days after the appointment, Leconnu leaves office on the eve of presenting his general political statement to the French National Assembly.
According to Reuters, the French actions fell sharply, such as the euro, with the news of the resignation.
The French government should hold its first meeting this Monday afternoon.
