The profile of a young candidate intrigued the investigators since the beginning of the fraud in the Unified National Contest (CNU). A native of Pernambuco, she boasts a curriculum of approvals that, according to experts, is statistically unlikely: medicine at a Federal University, Federal University Law, position of Administrative Assistant in Federal Education Institution and, finally, Labor Fiscal Audit at CNU of 2024.
What turned his trajectory into the target of the investigation was the discovery that his CNU template was absolutely identical to that of Wanderlan Limeira de Sousa, a former military police officer named as leader of the criminal organization. According to the PF “there is strong evidence” that the candidate participated in the fraud.

Analysis of your digital data revealed documents that connect it directly to the other investigated. In a file dated January 2024, references were found to approve Wanderlan in the Banco do Brasil administrative career contest, suggesting that she had prior knowledge of the group’s fraudulent activities.
The profile of “super-approved” drew attention precisely because it is “too good to be true”. Although there are exceptional candidates who get multiple approvals in difficult competitions, the combination of approvals in such distinct areas such as medicine, law and fiscal audit, added to the template identical to that of a known fraudster, raised strong suspicions.
The Federal Police work with the hypothesis that she is one of the “clients” of the criminal organization, that is, would have paid for fraud services in multiple contests over the years.
The investigation seeks to track financial transactions between the candidate and group members, as well as analyze whether their previous approvals were also obtained fraudulently.
The PF also investigates other similar profiles of multiple candidates approvals in high complexity contests and whose templates have coincided with those of gang members.
