The Galician businessman Moncho Neira, founder of the historic marsquery of Barcelona and president of the, has died this Sunday at age 84, as the restaurant himself has communicated on his social networks. In the farewell text, the group defines Neira as “a passionate, visionary and generous man, who dedicated his life to making others happy through his work, his delivery and his example.” The Marisquería of Gran de Gràcia Street is its most famous, frequented by the Barcelona high society.
The Botafumeiro, open in 1975, is also reputed to feed many players, famous people and figures of the business and economic world, who take advantage of the discretion of their reserved to close business agreements.
