STF marks judgment of black kids for November 11

Group is accused of planning tactical actions aimed at an institutional break to keep Bolsonaro in power

The president of the 1st Panel of the Supreme Federal Court), Minister Flávio Dino, marked the beginning of the judgment of the so-called core 3 of the coup attempt to keep the former president (PL) in power. The group is made up of military army special forces, known as “black kids”.

Dino also reserved 12, 18 and 19 November for the continuity of the trial. The sessions will be held from 9am to 12pm, with complementary activities from 14h to 19h on the 11th and 18th.

According to (Attorney General’s Office), the group would have planned tactical actions aimed at a possible institutional rupture in favor of Bolsonaro. The prosecution indicates that the plans included the monitoring of authorities considered opposing Bolsonaro and the death of Minister Alexandre de Moraes, rapporteur of criminal action in the STF.

The core consists of 8 army military personnel and a federal police. They respond for crimes of armed criminal organization, attempted violent abolition of the Democratic Rule of Law, coup, damage qualified by violence and serious threat and deterioration of listed heritage.

The Attorney General of the Republic, against Lieutenant Colonel Ronald Ferreira de Araújo Júnior, one of the defendants, is disqualified for the crime of inciting the armed forces against constitutional powers. With this, he may claim an agreement that is exempt from condemnation.
