A man appointed as a participant in the execution of a couple and accused of shooting a two -year -old child was arrested during a Military Police operation on Saturday night (4) at Fontenele de Castro branch, rural Epitaciolândia, Acre. A woman was also detained with ammunition and cell phones.
The action is part of the diligence of Police Inquiry No. 5977/2025, which had already resulted in the arrest of another suspect armed days before. During intensified patrolling in the region, the military received information on firearm shots near the extension of the extension.

Arriving at the scene, around 11 pm, the police spotted a man on the banks of the road. Upon noticing the presence of the garrison, he fled toward a rural property. Inside the residence, the agents detained Geele Marques, who carried a bag containing seven 9 mm caliber ammunition and two cell phones.
The fugitive was identified as Wisley Lima, considered of high danger and with open arrest warrant. After several hours of searching in a dense forest area, the suspect was located at dawn, around 5:30 am, inside another residence. Even after stating that he would surrender, he tried to escape again, being contained by the police after resistance.
With Wisley, the military seized a 9 mm caliber Taurus pistol, loaded with 13 intact ammunition, as well as a spare charger with five more ammunition.

According to the Military Police, the suspect is investigated for several crimes in the region, including vehicle thefts and attempted and consummated homicides – among them the case of a two -year -old head -to -head, who lost the sight of one eye.
The two prisoners, together with the seized material, were sent to the Epitaciolândia Civil Police Station, where the legal proceedings were performed, including the compliance with the arrest warrant and the drawing of the flagrant.
