The Governor (Republicans) praised the Electoral Court on Monday (6) when honored by the institution with the delivery of the Paulista Electoral Merit Necklace, in an event at TRE-SP (Regional Electoral Court of).
According to the Court, the necklace “was created in 1999 with the objective of honoring people who deserve distinction for their public action, as well as award the judges of the Court.” Tarcisio received the tribute even after attacks on the judiciary.
“I leave here, today, more debtor of the Electoral Justice, especially of the Electoral Justice of São Paulo,” he said. “It is important to reflect on the work of the Electoral Justice. A loving work, professional work, a meticulous planning work, a work that involves training of several people,” he said this afternoon.
The governor did not speak with the press at the end of the event. His political godfather, former President Jair Bolsonaro, is ineligible due to two convictions in the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) for attacks and lies to the electoral system.

During the event this Monday, the governor was exposed to a fair skirt during a speech by the president of OAB-SP (Brazilian Bar Association Section São Paulo), Leonardo Sica. The lawyer asked for a moment to remember the death of also lawyer Luiz Fernando Pacheco, last week ,.
Sica asked a minute “to think, to talk to an effective, serious, continued, public security policy. A public security policy that opens the judicial populism. Because, in the state of Sao Paulo, our judges already judge exhaustion and judge criminal causes,” he said.
Tarcisio and his secretary of public security, Guilherme Derrite (PP), advocate changes in criminal legislation as a way of confronting violence.
