Putin warns that response to European militarization will be "very inviting"

Tired of waiting for the allies’ help, Ukraine has decided to advance with its own means to reach Russia where it hurts the most. The effects, these, are already noticing

Higher, higher and deeper. It is intensifying attacks against energy infrastructures, seeking to reach for itself the targets that have long wanted the West to attack, even with other weapons.

While United States and the European Union say that it is necessary to attack the Russian oil industry economically, Ukraine is doing the same but with weapons.

The goal is the same, the way to get there is that it is different. Instead of waiting for discussions on the Washington or Brussels offices, Kiev decided to advance decisively, using authentic drone swarms to reach Russia in the one that is his true war engine.

The most serious attacks began in August, with oil refineries to be attacked all over Russian territory. But the attacks that seemed to last a few weeks go for months, starting to get more and more intense and effective.

An example of this is what happened in NovoRossiysk, in the Black Sea, but even more in Bascosto Complex, over 1,300 kilometers from Ukraine range. This last attack shows that Ukraine is not only committed to continuing to reach the Russian economy, but has the ability to do it at distances that would find themselves unthinkable.

The attack on Chuvashi, about a thousand kilometers, is another example of this, such as the attack on Yaroslavl, which caused such disruption that Russia has justified itself with “technical” problems to explain why production was affected.

By the end of the first month of attacks, the Reuters agency already realized that 17% of Russia’s refinement capacity had been damaged. A fact that has risen considerably: the magazine points out that 40% of infrastructures were hit, and 20% of production was not working simultaneously.

A loss that represents a break in production of one million barrels of oil per day, according to Energy Aspects.

“The capabilities of the enemy’s military-industrial complex were significantly reduced; we can see this on the battlefield,” said Ukraine Armed Forces Chief Oleksandr Syrsky.

And this is largely due to the attacks on the oil industry than to operations against weapon storage locations.

Quoted by The Economist, Benedict George, who makes price analysis for the Argus Media, indicates that 16 of the 38 refineries of Russia have already been reached, some of the places were shot three times.

Among these targets is the Ryazan refinery, located 200 kilometers from Moscow and capable of producing 340,000 barrels a day. It is the largest oil transformation center and, therefore, one of the primordial targets.

Another fact that explains the impact of the attacks is export. Russia is the second largest oil exporter in the world, but the sale of this product has fallen 30% in just one year, which is also affecting the internal economy.

In the distant town of Vladivostok, for example, one kilometer lines were seen in supply stations. It is in places that there is already fuel rationing, in a clear sign that there are problems.

And if the problems have already reached civilians, Ukraine believes that continuing this operation can reach Kremlin in two ways: it will first lose some popular support, as there is greater product shortage; Then, if the problem continues, the war machine will be harder to feed.
