Author of one of the goals of Virada do Palmeiras over São Paulo 3-2, this Sunday (5), at Morumbis, Vitor Roque also became the subject also outside the four lines. After the classic, the striker made a homophobic publication on social networks, which generated immediate reaction from the club itself.
In the post, published on Instagram, the player shared the image of a tiger, a nickname he is known, biting a deer’s neck, in a clear offensive insinuation of São Paulo. The attitude was interpreted as a homophobic attack.

Palmeiras would have acted internally as soon as they learned of the content. Managers talked to Vitor Roque and made it clear that “posts like these no longer fit football.” The attacker then deleted the image of the published carousel, keeping the other photos.
