In recent years, there has been a trend among parents, which was only a few families, a decade ago, bilingual education. More and more mothers and dads decide to lead their children to speak two languages from a young age.
Some parents speak everyone at home with a different language, others engage a foreign language in everyday games, fairy tales or songs. The reason is simple, young children learn incredibly fast and the ability to acquire new languages are innate. The sooner they encounter the second language, the more naturally they accept it.
Adela (44) and Viktor (34) Vinczeovci, who brought home a four -month -old boy Maxík (3), also decided to do this. While Adela speaks Slovak with a boy, Viktor uses only English.
On the Vincze social network, he adds a video from time to time to talk to her son, and every single new post is seen how the boy is getting better. “Open the book. Let’s try it. I’ll ask you and you will show me where it is … I don’t know, the table? Where is the toaster? Viktor asked his boy in English while holding a book with pictures of the things in his hands.
