A new end date has arrived, however the fan of European football will still be able to follow major clubs on the field. This is because, starts this Tuesday (07/10), the Female Champions League, with exclusive transmission of the ESPN and Disney+ channels to Brazil.
Great clubs of the sport will be on the field this Tuesday, such as Barcelona, the best in the world, Aitana Bonmati, and Arsenal and Lyon, who face each other from 4 pm.
The 2025/26 version of the Women’s Tournament will also have a new format, with 18 teams vying for the ear. The following, Sporting News brings more details about the competition and the best guards for the fan to make their little one. Check it out!

Champions League Female 25/26: The New Format
The tournament now has 18 teams and, in the first phase, each team disputes six matches each, qualifying through a charter table.
The six clashes will be held in three home matches and three away – according to a draw based on the UEFA club ranking.
Advance to the next phase the top four directly to the quarterfinals. From fifth to 12th place, there will be a playoff dispute. The classifieds of these playoffs dispute the top four places of the initial phase.
From this point, the traditional format of the knockout is resumed.

- Quarterfinals: 24 and 25 March 2026 (IDA) and April 1 and 2, 2026 (return)
- Semifinals: April 25 and 26, 2026 (trip) and 2 and 3 May 2026 (lap)
- Final: Between May 22 and 24, 2026 (to be confirmed), at ULLEVAL STADION, in Oslo (Norway)

Champions League Female 2025/26: The Favorites
Arsenal, current champion, appears among the favorites for the two -time championship. In addition to him, Barcelona, with names such as Alexia Putellas and Aitana Bonmati, the current tri-most player of the world, and three-time champion of the competition, also appears as a strong candidate for the title.
Chelsea, the largest champion in WSL history, with six titles, which features a cast of Hannah Hampton, Sam Kerr, Mayra Ramírez, Lucy Bronze, among others, also has a good chance of taking the cup.
