Former BBBs unite in a campaign for SUS 35 years: “guarantees quality of life”.

The Ministry of Health launched an unprecedented partnership on Instagram with former BBBs to celebrate the 35 years of the Unified Health System (SUS). With a vote that simulates the program’s confessional, participants defend the role and importance of SUS in the lives of Brazilians.

There are 2.8 billion calls per year, with about 3.5 million professionals in work. BBB 23 Cezar Black is SUS nurse, and, in action, recalls that the world’s largest public health system serves more than 200 million people.

The campaign also features Fred Nicácio, doctor and presenter, who reinforces that “everyone is entitled to be careful, from primary care to the most complex transplantation.” Lucas Bissoli, a health student, points out that “SUS makes a difference, whether in vaccination or prevention that guarantees more quality of life”.

Marcela MC Gowan, a gynecologist and obstetrician, says: “SUS deserves my vote”, and Jessilane Alves, a teacher and biologist, says that public health goes beyond what the population imagines: “SUS guarantees the quality of food, water and medicines that reach the table of Brazilians”.
