On the D2 motorway, the car crashed and fell under the underpass of the highway overpass to a depth of approximately ten meters. The accident happened last weekend in the section 55.5 kilometers in the direction from Malacky to Bratislava. The Fire and Rescue Corps (HaZZ) of the Bratislava Region informed about it on the social network.
“Upon arriving at the place, the rescuers had already treated a badly injured person who was ejected from the vehicle. Firefighters immediately began working with the crews of the emergency medical service, searched the surroundings to exclude the presence of other persons and carried out fire -fighting measures on a crashed vehicle, ”said firefighters.
Police of the Bratislava region explained that it was a 37-year-old driver who flew at high speed. According to the police, the man suffered injuries, which eventually succumbed to the medical facility after being transferred to the medical facility. “The exact causes as well as the circumstances of the traffic accident are in the investigation stage,” they added.
