The UN Secretary-General asks “the suffering of all”, once again addressing “Humanitarian catastrophe.
“I have said it several times and I repeat it today with even more urgency: free the hostages, unconditionally and immediately,” said Guterres to the Palestinian extremist group on the day of the second anniversary of the attacks that triggered the war in Gaza.
“We end up with everyone’s suffering. This is a humanitarian catastrophe of incomprehensible magnitude. They stop making civilians pay their lives and their future. After two years of trauma, we should choose hope. Now,” said Guterres.
