The president of Argentina, Javier Milei, promoted on Monday night (6) a hybrid event between show and rally in Buenos Aires. The release of his book The Construction of the Miracle, held at the Movistar Arena, brought together thousands of supporters and had musical performances, inflamed speeches and direct references to allies of the international right.
Milei took the stage wrapped in the Argentine flag and opened the night singing “Panic Show”, from La Renga group, whose lyrics portrays a dominant leader.
The repertoire included songs by Charly García, Paranoic Ratones and Sandro de América, as well as the Jewish music “Hava Nagila”, presented as a gesture of solidarity to Israel.

Amid the public, which chant “Milei, dear, El Pueblo is with you” (“Milei, dear, the people are with you”), the president alternated between performances and criticism to the left.
“They tried to murder Jair Bolsonaro. They tried to murder this colossus of the world that is Donald Trump. They murdered the Uribe. They have a long history,” he said, under applause.
The festive mood was confused with the campaign tone. At one point, the audience sang “Cristina Tobillera” (“Cristina Anklet”, a provocation to former President Cristina Kirchner, who meets house arrest.

In his speech, Milei accused the left of “resorting to violence when he loses the debate” and said “freedom is under attack in Latin America.” The phrases echo the combative style that marked their political rise, but now appear in a context of growing government wear.
Turbulence scenario
Milei faces a support in Congress, internal tensions and allegations of corruption that hit her sister and leading advisor, Karina Milei, named as a key piece in the government’s political command.
A few days from legislative elections, the event was seen as an attempt to reaffirm its base and recover land in Buenos Aires, where the peronist opposition maintains strength and the government has accumulated defeats.
