Recently, the veteran seemed excited about the start of his 23rd season in the league. At the Lakers’ media day, at the end of September, he said he was “happy to be able to continue playing the sport he loves so much” and acknowledged that the end of his career could be near.
“Whatever happens, I’m very involved because I don’t know when it will end, although the end is near,” said the player. Despite the expectation surrounding a possible retirement announcement, part of the American press speculates that the video could be related to commercial partnerships, as LeBron maintains agreements with major brands, including Amazon, which is promoting an exclusive sales event for subscribers this Tuesday.
