President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva participated, this Monday (6), the delivery of new houses of the Minha Casa, Minha Vida program, in Imperatriz, Maranhão. Among the benefited families is Eliana, who received from the hands of the president the key of the new house where she will live with her husband and the two daughters, Elisa and Isabela. The moment of strong emotion was recorded and reverberated on social networks.
In all, 2,836 families were contemplated with housing units, which represent, according to Lula, “a fresh start with dignity and hope”. The president stated that the delivery marks a new phase of the program, resumed focusing on social inclusion and improving the quality of housing.

On social networks, the video of the moment Lula delivers the key and visits the family home viralized. Many netizens praised the gesture and highlighted the importance of the program. “These children in a new home and the joy of the mother is moving,” wrote a user. Others stated that the president’s visit will be marked in the family’s memory and exalted Lula as “the greatest president in the country’s history.”
