The councilors of Rio Branco met on Tuesday (7), with representatives of the community health, endemic and surveillance in zoonoses, who held another demonstration in front of the City Council. The meeting took place on the same day as the entry of the bill that deals with the payment of the national floor of the category, but, according to the servers, the city did not send the proposal to the legislature.

The act was organized by the Rio Branco Municipal Servants Union (Assumurb) and had as its main claim the fulfillment of the national floor and the transfer of the retroactive which, according to the workers, has not yet been made by municipal management.
The president of the union, José Augusto, said that, in a meeting held on Monday (6) with representatives of the City Hall, the category was informed about a legal opinion of the Attorney General’s Office (PGM). The document, according to him, is based on a summary of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) which considers the sum of salaries and bonuses for the calculation of the floor, interpretation that the union disagrees.
“They presented this opinion of the PGM, linked to a summary of the Supreme Court, saying that the sum of the salaries is valid as floor. But here in Rio Branco, historically, the discussion is different. We have a plan of positions, careers and remuneration (PCCR) won to hard penalties, which defines the floor as the base salary of the category,” said José Augusto.
The unionist also criticized the position of Mayor Tião Bocalom. “For four years he paid the floor inside the PCCR, and now, in the first year of the second term, he simply ignores the plan and says he won’t pay. And the worst: they said there is no retroactive or floor,” he added.
José Augusto stated that the category should decide in assembly the next steps of the movement and do not rule out a stoppage. “There is a possibility of strike, yes. If the mayor does not meet the demands, the workers will deliberate. We are here to charge the councilors to support and press the city to fulfill what was agreed in previous years,” he concluded.
