During the presentation, Brunna posed next to the school president, Milton Abreu, who welcomed her. Ludmilla was also present to support her beloved. On the same night, Grande Rio also hosted drum queen Virginia Fonseca.
Brunna leaves Beija-Flor and Gabriel David speaks out
The confusion began in June 2025, when Ludmilla, godmother of the wedding of Gabriel David and Giovanna Lancellotti, did not attend the ceremony nor did she justify her absence. She also canceled the musical performance she had offered to give, citing commitments with the birth of her daughter. Brunna Gonçalves, Ludmilla’s wife, interpreted the situation as retaliation and stated that her departure from Beija-Flor was a direct consequence of this episode. She mentioned that the school’s decision was a form of punishment for Ludmilla’s absence from the wedding.
In response to the accusations, Gabriel David, president of LIESA and patron of Beija-Flor, denied that Brunna’s departure had anything to do with the episode with Ludmilla. He stated that the decision was motivated by Brunna’s lack of involvement with the school community. Gabriel also defended his wife, Giovanna Lancellotti, clarifying that she never held the position of muse at Beija-Flor.
After Gabriel’s demonstration, Ludmilla joined the discussion, refuting the criticism and defending his wife.
