Fogaça restaurant ceiling in SP collapses after explosion

Chef Henrique Fogaça’s Jamile Restaurant ceiling collapsed on Wednesday (8.out.2025), leaving 4 people injured and 2 under rubble. The restaurant is located at Rua 13 de Maio, 647, in the region of Bela Vista, central São Paulo. According to preliminary information from the Fire Department, the accident was caused by a gas explosion.

The SSP-SP (Secretariat of Public Security of São Paulo) reported that 2 victims remain trapped under the rubble and 4 have already been rescued.
