PF carries out national operation against child sexual abuse

Action complies with 182 warrants in 15 states and Brasília; more than 900 agents from the Federal and Civil Police participate

The PF (Federal Police) launched this Wednesday (October 8, 2025) the , held simultaneously in 15 States and the Federal District, to identify and arrest perpetrators of sexual abuse crimes against children and adolescents, especially those committed over the internet.

The operation carries out 182 search and seizure warrants and 11 preventive arrest warrants. To date, the actions have resulted in 19 arrests in the act, two seizures of minors and the rescue of one victim – the numbers subject to updating.

Participating in the operation are: 617 federal police officers and 273 civil police officers, distributed across Alagoas, Amazonas, Bahia, Ceará, Federal District, Espírito Santo, Goiás, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pará, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Piauí, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and São Paulo.

Coordinated by the PF, the action follows the Integral Protection operations 1 and 2, carried out in March and May 2025, which also focused on combating crimes of child sexual exploitation.

According to the institution, from January to September 2025, 1,630 arrest warrants were served against those convicted of sexual crimes. The PF reinforced the importance of parents and guardians monitoring the use of the internet by children and adolescents and maintaining a constant dialogue about online safety.
