Federal Deputy Aécio Neves (PSDB-MG) and Senator Carlos Viana (Somos-MG) lead the voting intentions to the Senate in Minas Gerais, according to a survey released by the Paraná Research Institute on Wednesday (8).
For the margin of error, the two are tied technically in the dispute, with Aécio numerically ahead, accumulating 27.6%, and Viana following 24.9%. Remember that in the next election each state will elect two new senators.
In this first scenario, eight names were listed in all (see details in the chart below). The institute also proposed a second simulation, with other possible postulants. In the second table, are also favorites Aécio and Viana, with 29.0% and 26.4%, respectively.
For the research, 1,505 interviews were conducted in 68 municipalities of Minas Gerais between October 1st and 5th. The margin of error is 2.6 percentage points, for more or less, and the confidence level is 95%.
