Over the past 16 days, the network of regional hospitals Penta Hospitals has been a target of threats of bombings for the third time. The bomb threat was not confirmed at the hospitals in Galanta, Košice and Michalovce.
“Such similar deeds pose a serious public threat and we perceive them as a targeted attack on our society. For this reason, we file a criminal complaint against an unknown perpetrator and at the same time appeal to the force forces of the state to investigate this series of attacks thoroughly, ”says the hospital network.
Each such incident according to the company threatens both patients and employees hospitals and disrupts the peaceful and dignified environment, which is the basis of quality health care.
“At the same time, it requires the relocation of dozens of planned performances, operations and hospitalizations, which has a direct impact on patients waiting for treatment. Moreover, hospitals face direct economic losses that reach tens of thousands of euros per day of the failure, ”added Penta Hospitals.
