Is apple juice healthy? We can answer this question by saying, it depends. If we decide to drink juice, we should choose natural ones, preferably freshly squeezed, without added sugar. Store-bought drinks won’t be a good choice. At the same time, you should remember that even with fruit juices you cannot overdo it. Natural apple juice contains mainly simple sugars, which, when consumed in large quantities, may increase the risk of diabetes, obesity or tooth decay. At the same time, we should not forget that apple juice also contains vitamins and minerals. Therefore, a glass homemade apple juice once in a while, you can definitely include yourself in a healthy diet. Which apple juice is the best? This one will definitely be the most valuable squeezed straight from fresh fruit. You can prepare also apple juice for the winterbut it is worth remembering that thermal barn will deprive it of some vitamins and minerals.

A glass of juice will not harm you, but it is definitely better to choose water and unsweetened drinks, e.g. teas, herbal infusions or coffee.

To prepare fresh apple juice you will need a juicer or juicer. Just wash the fruit, remove the seeds, cut them into smaller pieces and simply squeeze the delicious juice from them. To prepare a glass of drink, you will need three or four medium-sized apples. Of course, it all depends on how juicy the fruit is.

However, if the apple trees in your garden are exceptionally fruitful, or you received a basket full of fruit from your family or friends, you can prepare it apple juice for the winter. It’s worth making this one without sugar. You will need five kilograms of apples, cinnamon, and optional sweetener, e.g. erythritol, stevia.

Wash the apples and remove the seeds. Cut into quarters and put in the juicer. Pour the ready juice into a pot and bring it to a boil. Use a spoon to collect the foam. Season the hot juice with a good pinch of cinnamon. You can also sweeten it with sweetener if you like. Pour the hot juice into clean and sterilized bottles. You can additionally pasteurize it.
