Berlin – In connection with the cancellation of a performance by rapper Chefket at the House of World Cultures (HKW) in Berlin, Jan Böhmermann admitted that the planning was too careless. “We should never have planned this event on that day, October 7th,” he said at an event at HKW. “It was unwise and the Jewish perspective should have been taken into account from the outset.” This evening was planned with too little awareness of what that meant.
