Starmer welcomes the agreement between Israel and Hamas and calls for lifting restrictions on the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer was one of the first leaders of the international community to celebrate the agreement on the first phase of the ceasefire peace plan in Gaza reached on Tuesday night between Israel and Hamas. Starmer has demanded that it be implemented “in its entirety, without delay and accompanied by the immediate lifting of all restrictions on [entrada de] humanitarian aid in Gaza.”
“I welcome the news that an agreement has been reached on the first phase of the president’s peace plan [de EE UU, Donald] Trump for Gaza,” said the British Prime Minister in a statement issued while he is in India on an official trip.
“The agreement must now be implemented in its entirety, without delay and accompanied by the immediate lifting of all restrictions on vital humanitarian aid to Gaza,” he adds in the note. (Reuters)
