The president of the United States, Donald Trumpannounced this Wednesday that Israel y Hamas have agreed on the first phase of the White House tenant’s proposal for the future of the Gaza Strip.
“I am proud to announce that Israel and Hamas have signed the first phase of our pa planz”, Trump stated in a publication on his social network, Truth Social, where he defended that “all parties will be treated fairly.”
The signing of this initial stage will mean “that all the hostages will be released very soon and that Israel will withdraw its troops to an agreed line as the first step towards a solid, lasting and eternal peace,” the president described.
“This is a great day for the Arab and Muslim world, Israel, all neighboring nations and the United States,” he highlighted before thanking “the mediators from Qatar, Egypt and Turkey, who have worked with us to make this historic and unprecedented event a reality.”
