After days of rumors and exposures involving alleged affairs, Vini Jr. spoke out publicly for the first time about the controversy. In a note published in Instagram stories this Tuesday (8/10), the athlete acknowledged mistakes, apologized to Virginia Fonseca and spoke about what he learned from the situation.
“We all go through moments that make us reflect and grow. I recently experienced a situation that made me look inside, recognize attitudes that did not represent who I want to be and the type of relationship I want to build”, wrote the player.

In recent days, models such as Day Magalhães and Anna Silva have revealed intimate conversations and claimed to have been involved with Vini Jr. while he was in a relationship with Virginia Fonseca. In the note, the athlete praises the influencer and admits to having disappointed:
“Virginia is an incredible woman, an admirable mother and someone for whom I have enormous affection and respect (…). Even though we weren’t officially a couple yet, there was a sincere connection. I’m not ashamed to admit that I was careless, I didn’t respond in the best way and I disappointed her.”
The player claims to have reflected on his attitudes and expresses his desire to start over in a more transparent way: “I want to apologize publicly, with an open heart, because I understand that a real relationship only exists when there is respect, trust and transparency. The idea now is to put everything to zero. No lies, no fights, no masks. With lots of love, affection and respect.”
