Spaghetti with chicken and spinach it is a dish that many people know and like to serve to their families for dinner. It is tasty, fills you for a long time, and does not require great culinary skills. In addition to chicken and spinach, be sure to add mushrooms, cream and dried tomatoes to the sauce. Don’t forget to sprinkle the dish with parmesan, it will taste even better.
To prepare this recipe, you will need:
- 350 g Makaronu spaghetti,
- 400 g chicken fillets,
- 200 g mushrooms,
- 200 g of spinach,
- 200 ml of cream 30%,
- 50 ml of white wine (optional),
- 5-6 dried tomatoes,
- 1 onion,
- 2 cloves of garlic,
- olive oil for frying,
- dried basil to taste,
- parmesan for sprinkling,
- salt and pepper.
Boil salted water in a large pot and cook the spaghetti al dente according to the instructions on the package. Drain, reserving half a cup of cooking water.
Cut the chicken fillets into cubes, season with salt and pepper. Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan and fry the meat until golden brown, then set aside on a plate.
Wash the mushrooms and cut them into thin slices.
Now chop the onion and garlic. Fry them in the same pan, then add the mushroom slices. Stir occasionally. Finally, add the spinach and fry until it significantly reduces in volume.
Pour in the white wine and let it evaporate (optional). Add cream and mix. Add the fried chicken, season with salt, pepper and basil.
Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, pour in a little cooking water and mix everything so that the spaghetti is well combined with the creamy sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Finally, sprinkle everything with fresh Parmesan.
