Babler calls for advantages for medical students who sign up to become statutory health insurance physicians

On Saturday, at the state party conference of the SPÖ Vorarlberg, Vice Chancellor Andreas Babler (SPÖ) called for a “solidarity contribution” from medical students to strengthen the statutory health system. Anyone who commits to working as a statutory health insurance doctor “for a few years” should be given priority when applying for a place at university. The legal options for this are currently being examined, said Babler.
