Designer Marcio Ferreira came out in defense of the dress worn by Lexa and Ricardo Vianna’s wedding, held on Friday (10/10). Responsible for creating the look that divided opinions on social media (), he explained the inspiration behind the piece and highlighted that the proposal sought to combine elegance and sensuality.
“She was very concerned about being well dressed, elegant. And we looked for Haute Couture references that would bring this more princessy, more glamorous look, and at the same time not losing any of the sensuality, which is something very characteristic of Bruna”, he told Gshow.

According to Marcio, the dress was made in satin “all interwoven to have more structure, and not lose the shine that we wanted and is very characteristic of these great princesses”.
He added that the transparency of the piece was designed to give the impression that the sparkles were directly on the actress’s skin. “Giving a little princess look, but a little sensual. That was the concept of the dress”, he added.
On social media, the look — which mixed two styles, one short and shiny with the other long and blue — generated a flood of comments. Many internet users criticized the “half and half” look, while others defended the choice.
Faced with the repercussion, Bruna Griphao also spoke out. She said she didn’t like the dress, but ended up wearing the piece due to lack of time to change.
“Controversy about the dress. I know the dress was horrible, okay? But what happened, it wasn’t that proposal. And it didn’t just happen to me, okay? It happened to another friend of mine. I don’t know what happened, that delayed everything and we only picked up the dress 10 minutes before the wedding. I hadn’t tried it on yet”, he began.
The actress also said that she had to choose between arriving late or showing up with a look that she didn’t like.
“So, what happened? I had 10 minutes to get there. In fact, I was supposed to arrive at 3:30 am because the bridesmaids had to arrive half an hour earlier. I was stuck. What’s up, daughter? I was stuck waiting for the dress. When the dress arrived and I saw that it was… I still thought about going home and wearing any other blue dress I had. Because it was supposed to be that shade of blue. But either I would go home and not be embarrassed, but I would shit on the my friend’s ceremony. Or I would go like that, shit myself”, he explained.
