“The truth has two sides. Which side are you on?” It is with this provocative motto that The Jury Experience landed in São Pauloinviting the public to take on an unusual role: that of the jury. In addition to the role of spectator, during the play it is necessary to vote, until the final verdict is reached.
The atmosphere of Teatro Gamaro, in São Paulo, transforms into one — the tension in the air, the formalism, the testimonies, the evidence. The proposal is to make the public not only watch, but also judge the case presented.
The show presents two different versions of cases, the first of which involves an autonomous car. The trial prompts the public to answer who is responsible when the machine takes action. The second case, a homicide, will be the theme of the presentation that will take place on October 18th.
The story, which has already covered several countries, is full of mystery, betrayal, family secrets and a murder where, apparently, nothing is exactly what it seems.
The play takes place at Teatro Gamaro, with tickets starting at R$70. You must be at least 12 years old to participate. And, to vote, just take your cell phone and access a QR code provided by the actors.
