Her civil protection announced today that nearly 200,000 people have returned to the northern part of Palestinian territory from 12 noon local time, when the truce came into force.
“About 200,000 people have returned to the north today,” Mahmoud Basal, a spokesman for Civil Protection, an organization that offers first aid and operates under the Islamist Movement for Hamas, told the French Agency.
Pictures of the French agency showed earlier today a dense tail of people heading to the northern part of the enclave, where the Israeli army warned that several areas remain “extremely dangerous” to the civilian population.
