If you want to prepare a tasty dinner for the whole family, it is worth making delicious, delicate tsukune meatballs. They are made from minced chicken and are quite often served as skewers. It is one of the most popular dishes in Japanese bars and street stalls.
Their main advantage is that they can be prepared quickly and easily. In addition, we can do it in different ways, because the meatballs can be fried, grilled or steamed.. The taste is complemented by a sweet sauce that goes perfectly with the meat. This dish is full of intense and tasty aromas, because it contains, among others: garlic, ginger or soy sauce.
Preparing Japanese meatballs is not difficult. This is a simple recipe that, using those available in many stores, will create an original and tasty dinner that your family will love. Do to make tsukune meatballs, we will need the following products:
- 0.5 kg of minced chicken meat,
- 2 cloves of chopped garlic,
- 1 tablespoon of grated ginger,
- 1 teaspoon of sugar,
- 1 teaspoon of soy sauce,
- 1 egg,
- 2 finely chopped spring onions,
- 2 tablespoons of potato starch,
- 1 teaspoon of sesame oil,
- sun,
- pepper.
To make it, we need 2 tablespoons of honey, 1 tablespoon of sake, 1 tablespoon of sugar and 3 tablespoons of soy sauce. After preparing the ingredients, mix all meatball products in a bowl to create a uniform mass. Nthen we form small meatballs and fry them in a pan until golden brown.
The next step is to mix the ingredients for the sauce in a small pot. Heat them over medium heat until the sauce becomes slightly thick. Pour it into the meatballs and mix everything so that the sauce evenly covers the meat. Cook everything together for 2 minutes so that the sauce blends well with the meatballs.
