Civil police officers from the 5th DP (Mem de Sá), with support from the Civil Police of Minas Gerais, arrested this Friday (10) a 24-year-old woman suspected of carrying out the scam known as in Lapa, central region of Rio de Janeiro.
The arrest took place in the municipality of Igaratinga, Minas Gerais, after integrated intelligence action.
According to investigations, the crime took place in June. The victim, a man, was in a bar when he met the suspect and an accomplice. The two offered to accompany him to his apartment.. During the journey, the man began to feel dizzy and, upon arriving home, he lost consciousness.
When he woke up, When checking his bank account, he discovered improper purchases totaling more than R$5,000.
Based on information obtained during investigations, agents identified the woman as one of those involved in the crime. The temporary arrest warrant for qualified robbery was served this Friday.
The Civil Police reported that investigations continue to locate the second suspect.
