The German Digital Minister Karsten Wildberger has shown himself fundamentally open to breaking up large tech companies if the market power is too great, but advocates for a new focus in the debate. “If they have a dominant position and are blocking competition, then the time has come for intervention,” Wildberger said in an interview with the Reuters news agency published on Saturday.
