Measure determines that the cabinet supports the president’s spouse in “exercising activities in the public interest”

The government of the president (PT) published the , which establishes changes to the administrative structure of the Presidency of the Republic. The measure, signed on August 28, 2025, officially expands the access of the First Lady, Janja Lula da Silva, to the services of the Personal Office of the President of the Republic.

The decree modifies 2023 rules and determines that the cabinet must also “support the spouse of the President of the Republic in carrying out activities of public interest”. Leia a (PDF – 215 Kb).
