The fire in the apartment building on Nevädzova Street in Ružinov, Bratislava, required one victim. Mayor Martin Chren on the social network informed about it. “The fire is already extinguished, but it has expanded to several apartments from the 12th to the 14th floor and claimed, unfortunately, one victim in life. The sincere condolences and great thanks to all the components that still interfere,” The mayor said.
The fire broke out on Sunday evening probably on one of the upper floors of the apartment building and then to extend to four apartments. All rescue units intervened on the spot. The incident also required people’s evacuation. Mayor of Ružinova announced that the city district will provide an emergency sleep if necessary.
