The president of , (-AP), did not want to answer questions from the press about the vacancy in the (Supreme Federal Court) opened after the minister’s retirement.
Asked about the senator’s (-MG) chances in the dispute and whether he was a good name for the Judiciary seat, Alcolumbre simply stated that “what I can say is that he is a good friend”.
The president will also indicate who should nominate the seat on the STF. Allies say that Jorge Messias, head of the AGU (Attorney General of the Union), is considered the favorite. In the political world, however, there are fans for Pacheco.
