The defense of the former president (PL) asked the minister of the (Supreme Federal Court) this Monday (13) for authorization for the visit of an endocrinologist.
According to Bolsonaro’s lawyers, the visit is necessary “due to the worsening of , which is why we are fighting for the rapid assessment of this claim.”
The doctor requested by Bolsonaro is called Marina Grazziotin Pasolini. She says on social media that she works with a focus on weight loss and obesity. The endocrinologist is not part of the group that had been following the former president throughout the year.
The expectation of doctors who have been following Bolsonaro for the longest time is that the former president will carry out new tests in the coming weeks to check the status of and treatment against it.
Bolsonaro’s health situation has been one of the reasons given by his allies to defend the former president from prison for the coup plot.
