Isabel Veloso details how she will receive her father’s bone marrow transplant

The influencer Isabel Veloso19, told her followers that she will be hospitalized next Friday (17) to undergo the bone marrow transplantin Curitiba (PR). The young woman’s father will be the donor after presenting 50% compatibility with his daughter.

he also revealed the reason why his father was chosen instead of his sister, as both had the same percentage of compatibility.

“I received the news that my transplant was scheduled for this week and now it’s coming. […] The donor was between my father and my sister, they are 50% compatible with me. So, it was going to be one of them and my father was chosen because he was a man. […] So, it will be Friday that I will be admitted for my transplant”, said the influencer.

Isabel Veloso highlighted that the selection criterion was based on the absence of pregnancy hormones, present in the body of the mother and sister. “They have a preference for men because they don’t have the pregnancy hormones that women have,” she said.

The influencer, who is Arthur’s mother10 months old, also revealed details of her routine this week, leading up to the transplant.

“From tomorrow until Thursday I only have hospital appointments. […] I have already had a transplant from which I myself was the donor, it is called an autologous bone marrow transplant. […] And as there is no halogen transplant in Cascavel, they transferred me to Curitiba to do this transplant”, he added.

The young woman also said that she will be hospitalized for between 20 and 40 days and that during this period, she will not be able to see her son, the result of her relationship with Lucas Borbas.

Isabel Veloso has had cancer since she was 15 years old and at 17 she discovered that her disease was incurable and stopped treatment. In October 2024, the influencer resumed cancer treatment at five months of pregnancy, after discovering that the lymphoma had started to grow again.

At 28 weeks pregnant, the influencer shared that the disease had spread, reaching her lungs. After giving birth, Isabel Veloso began a new stage in cancer treatment.
