Black parliamentarians from different parties and regions meet in Brasília this Monday (13) and Tuesday (14) to build
The will discuss topics such as the creation of a R$20 billion reparation fund, with an annual contribution of R$1 billion, currently under debate in the National Congress. The resources would be used to finance public policies aimed at the black population.
Another topic under discussion is the access criteria for black candidates to the Party Fund through self-declaration and hetero-identification boards.
The meeting brings together leaders from the three Powers and has the organization Legisla Brasil as its main partner.
The program includes a panel on the research “Trajectory of Black Advisors in the National Congress: access, challenges and strategies for permanence”, launched in September by Legisla Brasil and the Movimento Mulheres Negras Decidem (MNU).
Among the confirmed presences are ministers Vera Lúcia Santana Araújo and Edilene Lôbo, from the Superior Electoral Court, and
Among the parliamentarians, there will be representatives from Citizenship, MDB, PCdoB, PDT, PSB, PSOL, PT, PV and Solidariedade.
