Memphis Depay, Corinthians’ main name, entered Fenerbahçe’s sights. The information was revealed by journalist Cosme Rímoli, on the Esporte Record program on Sunday (12). According to him, the Turkish club is willing to make a big investment to have the Dutch number 10 from Timão.
According to Rímoli, coach Domenico Tedesco sees Memphis as the ideal leader for the Fenerbahçe project. The striker’s market value, 10 million euros (around R$62 million), is considered low by European standards, which also arouses the interest of other teams.

Can Memphis leave Corinthians?
Despite the speculation, Memphis Depay’s press office has not yet commented on Fenerbahçe’s possible interest. Corinthians also did not comment on the matter.
Meanwhile, the Corinthians star’s future remains uncertain, with a possible return to Europe in December not being so far away.
If the player leaves Corinthians, 50% of the transfer value would go to the São Paulo club. “Memphis leaves if he wants in December, because there are already smaller Spanish clubs interested in him and he is playing very well in Europe. The tendency is that in December he could leave. There is no way to hold back”, added Rímoli.
Corinthians want to renew with Memphis
Timão wants to renew the striker’s contract, which is in force until July 2026. The situation was detailed by journalist André Hernan, from ESPN.
According to findings, the Corinthians board’s priority is to honor Depay’s current contract before signing any new agreement. Behind the scenes, the understanding is that, if Memphis performs for Corinthians with the same performance as he does for the Dutch national team, the results will be positive for the club.
The comparison between performances in Europe and Brazil is not well seen in the club’s daily life. For managers, the important thing is the player’s commitment to the team, something that has been observed positively.
Still according to Hernan, Corinthians is interested in renewing the striker, but needs to define the terms of the contract extension. The idea of a contract with reduced values is seen as unlikely within the club.
Memphis’ professional behavior has also drawn attention. According to Hernan, the striker is extremely dedicated and respected by his teammates. He maintains direct dialogue with the cast and already communicates in Portuguese.
