Partridge Fair returns to Martim Longo with gastronomy, hunting and rural tradition

The Municipality of Alcoutim promotes, on the 15th and 16th of November, the 16th edition of the Feira da Perdiz, which will take place again on Avenida dos Almocreves, in Martim Longo, with free entry.

In a note sent to the press, the municipality emphasizes that this annual event “has the main objective of valuing and promoting the tourist and hunting potential of the municipality of Alcoutim, reinforcing the role of hunting as an element of economic and cultural dynamism in the territory”.

Over the two days, the event offers a diverse program that includes hunting demonstrations, thematic exhibitions, regional cuisine — with emphasis on game-based dishes — local products, musical entertainment and activities aimed at both fans and the general public.

According to the Municipality, “the Partridge Fair also represents an opportunity for hunters, producers, artisans and visitors to meet, in an environment that values ​​the tradition and know-how of the rural world”.

It also reinforces the invitation to the local community and visitors “to be present at this initiative, which is seen as an important contribution to the dynamism of the Algarve interior”.
