The president stated that the two countries ‘have always had a very good relationship’ and expressed optimism regarding the ceasefire, which he classified as ‘a very promising start’ to the end of the conflict.
O stated this Monday (13) that Brazil has a problem with the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, and not with the Middle Eastern country. “Brazil doesn’t have a problem with Israel, what Brazil has a problem with is . When Netanyahu is no longer in government, there will be no problem between Brazil and Israel, which have always had a very good relationship,” said Lula at a press conference in (Italy), when asked about the ceasefire agreement between and the terrorist group which was mediated by the United States.
“I don’t know if it’s definitive or not, but I’m happy because it’s a very promising start. The fact that President Donald Trump, of the United States, went to parliament in Israel and spoke is very important. I hope that those who helped Israel in its position of virulence will now help to have a definitive peace”, declared the Brazilian president.
